Six local ethnic restaurants

In light of the new International Studies program, students have been traveling around the globe. From Italy to England to India, and more. Students studying abroad  have been taking in the sites, the culture, and of course the food. For those who haven’t gotten the chance to study abroad, their taste buds still can by visiting some of the International restaurants right here in Greensboro.

Greek: Acropolis Restaurant—416 N. Eugene St.

Suggestion: Moussaka (Layered eggplant, zucchini, squash and meat sauce covered in a béchamel sauce)

Japanese: Zen- 214 S. Elm St.

Suggestion: A Hibachi Entree (Soup, salad, vegetables, noodles, white or brown rice, and a choice of either chicken, ribeye, shrimp, scallops, salmon, or filet mignon)

Mexican: El Camino Real Mexican Grill­—4131-E Spring Garden St.

Suggestion:  Arroz Con Pollo  (Grilled chicken and rice topped with a cheese sauce served with tortillas)

Jamaican: Da Reggae Cafe— 815 W. Lee St.

Suggestion: Rocaway Oxtail (Oxtails seasoned in Jamaican spices and stewed in brown sauce. Entree comes with rice and peas and steamed cabbage)

Indian: Tandoor India Cuisine—4621 W. Market St.

Suggestion: Tandoori Mixed Grill (A steak kabab, chicken tikka, a chicken tandoori)

Korean: Seoul Garden— 5318 W. Market St.

Suggestion: Bulkoki  (Beef marinated in a blend of soy sauce, lemon-lime soda, and sesame)
